The Bobro Engineering Lowrider sights are designed from the start to be an extremely low profile and lightweight set of BUIS for every purpose. For example, many short-barreled rifle owners have run into an issue with figuring out how to mount a set of BUIS on the upper and still fit their needed lights, lasers and optics. The idea was to make it so that the rear sight was as low profile as possible so that there was no way it could interfere with optics, and the front sight could easily be mounted under the front arm of the optic mount. This keeps them out of the way, but they can still be used in the event of the primary optic failing. This is just one of many applications where the Lowrider BUIS are ideal.
The sights weigh 1.7oz for the pair, have a thickness of .200" on the rail when flipped down, and are an absolute co-witness height (1.42") when deployed.
SBR SIGHTS: THIS SET HAS A FRONT SIGHT THAT IS LOWER BY 0.08 INCHES SO THAT ZEROING IS POSSIBLE WITH PISTOL CALIBER CARBINES AND WITH SOME SBR’S.
