The Bobro Engineering High Top Upper Ring is compatible with all Bobro Engineering Precision Optic Mounts that utilize the newer style LBX interlocking rings.
The Rings have 2 mounting surfaces; one is straight up and the other is at a 45 degree angle. The ring can be mounted so that the angled surface is either on the left or right side.
The mounting plate is separate so that the base ring can be configured to mount to various optics.
If the optic is mounted straight up, merely lifting your head will allow the secondary optic to be utilized. When mounted at a 45 degree angle, rotating the weapon will permit the use of the secondary optic. A secondary optic can be used as a backup to the primary, as a primary at a specific range, or for both purposes (typical).
All High Top rings come with the appropriate hardware and wrenches, including a stainless steel sealing plate for the optics that require them.
*Note* - These are not compatible with the older generation of rings that feature the stud/12-point nut combo. They only fit the LAB-X style rings (interlocking system w/step) that have been in production since 2019.
Excellent Quality RDS Mount
Bobro does it again. I added this to my QD Bobro standard mount and its rock solid. I could probably just use my Bobro mounts as a bludgeoning weapon at this point to be honest... they are that rock solid. This is a terrific upgrade to add a red dot to your setup.
